LAHORE (Dunya News) – Estranged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen has decided to show political strength during his appearance in the Banking Court on April 10 (Saturday), Dunya News reported.

PTI leader Jahangir Tareen is scheduled to appear in the Banking Court again on April 10. He will be accompanied by like-minded lawmakers from the ruling PTI and leaders.

According to Dunya News sources, Jahangir Tareen has invited like-minded party leaders to a dinner at his residence today (Friday) to chalk out a strategy in this regard.

Sources said that Jahangir Tareen has also invited like-minded ticket holders to the dinner along with lawmakers from the ruling PTI. Jahangir Tareen will consult with his political colleagues on the next legal course of action during the gathering.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Vawda has stated that no one, including Jahangir Tareen, is above the law.

In a statement on Twitter, Senator Faisal Vawda said that according to the inquiry report, 17 sugar mills were found involved in the sugar scandal, for which poor Pakistanis had to pay the price.

The Senator further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government will not tolerate those involved in the scandal, whosoever they may be. There are courts to decide whether someone is guilty or innocent, he added.
