PPP leader Mustafa Nawaz criticizes party decisions

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar while criticizing party decisions has said that the PPP should not have obtained votes from BAP (Balochistan Awami Party) to make Yousaf Raza Gillani Leader of the Opposition in the Senate.

Mustafa Nawaz said that the move to take votes from a government ally party has harmed the PPP s ideology.

He expressed the hope that in Central Executive Committee (CEC), priority will be given to reviewing these observations and formulating a plan of action.

He said that the recent decisions taken by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) did not leave good impression on the public adding that PDM parties are weak in their narrative regarding resignations from the assemblies.

He said that the fight within PDM has strengthened the position of the government.

PPP leader said that if a party is looking to regain its voters from other provinces, it will have to focus on politics for the people rather than for power.
