Pakistan, US express desire to deepen collaboration in education, culture
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan and the United States have expressed the desire to deepen ties through consistent engagements in areas of education and culture.
The resolve was expressed at a meeting between Minister for Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Shafqat Mahmood and US Charge d Affairs in Pakistan Ms. Angela Aggeler, who called in Islamabad on Monday.
Shafqat Mahmood said a relationship of both countries in the education sector is the best in the world and people of both countries are learning from each other.
Talking about regional situation, Shafqat Mahmood said stable Afghanistan is in our vital national interests and we shall extend all possible cooperation for lasting peace in Afghanistan.
Both sides reaffirmed their firm resolve to further strengthen their relations through consistent engagements.
