SHC summons answers on March 16 from ECP, others over Faisal Vawda's petition
Faisal Vawda had moved the SHC against the ECP.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) has summoned answers on March 16 from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and other parties over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda’s petition.
The court has Tuesday issued notices in this regard. The PTI leader had moved the court against the ECP. He had requested the high court to stop the election commission from conducting ineligibility case against him.
Faisal Vawda maintained that the ECP does not have jurisdiction to hear complaints against him. Let it be known that three complaints have been lodged against Faisal Vawda in the election commission over dual citizenship.
