Dense fog blankets parts of Punjab, Lahore-Sialkot Motorway closed
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dense fog has blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Sunday and Monday, badly disrupting the road traffic and paralysing routine life, Dunya News reported.
The Lahore-Sialkot Motorway section has been closed as visibility dropped to below 50 metres due to dense fog. According to Additional IG PHP, the Motorway has been closed for the safety of the passengers.
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed as the visibility was dropped to zero due to dense fog. The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
