Lahore-Abdul Hakim Motorway closed as fog blankets parts of Punjab

The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dense fog has blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Sunday and Monday, badly disrupting the road traffic and paralysing routine life, Dunya News reported.

The Lahore-Abdul Hakim Motorway M3, Pindi Bhattian-Gojra Motorway (M4) have been closed for all kind of traffic as visibility was very low due to thick fog.

The traffic at the National Highway was also affected by the dense fog in various parts of Punjab including Manga Mandi, Phool Nagar, Pattoke, Renala Khurd, Okara, Sahiwal and Chichawatni.

The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed. The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling as visibility was very low due to heavy fog.
