Ex-PM and his govt provided protection to land mafias: Imran Khan
The premier assured to retrieve the forest lands by taking every possible step.
SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday has said that former PM and his government had provided protection to the land mafias.
Addressing a ceremony held for Kamyab Jawan program in Sahiwal, the premier congratulated Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar for demolishing the palaces of mafias and called the operation as a revolution.
He also assured to retrieve the forest lands by taking every possible step.
The PM has also distributed cheques among the deserving people under Ehsaas Programme and gave away tractors to the farmers.
Earlier today, the PM had arrived in Sahiwal on a day-long visit and chaired a meeting to discuss law and order situation and other administrative matters. The premier was briefed over the progress of ongoing development projects worth Rs 18 billion.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, provincial Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and members of the National Assembly and the provincial assembly of the area were also present on the occasion.
