ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The federal government has summoned the Senate and National Assembly sessions on January 22 (Friday) at 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM respectively.

Adviser to the Prime Minster on Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Babar Awan Wednesday called on PM Imran Khan and both agreed to conduct the sessions on same day. Babar Awan said Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has been rejected on roads by people and it should now return to the Parliament.

Babar Awan said, “The PDM’s narrative of politics of protest has failed before the nation. The opposition should now play a practical part in the Parliament to serve people instead of spreading unrest.”

Let it be known that guidance was sought from the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) before summoning the Parliament sessions.
