Pakistan stands with Turkey in war on terror: Air Chief
ANKARA (Dunya News) - Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan has said that Pakistan fully supports Turkey in Cyprus and other regional issues and also stands with its Turkish brothers in the war against terrorism.
According to details, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan met the board members of the Association of Justice Defenders Strategic Studies (ASSAM) Center during his visit to Turkey.
In his address on the occasion, the Chief of Air Staff said that Pakistan and Turkey are two countries, one nation. Not only do the two countries share a common culture and faith, but their interests and challenges are the same.
The Air Chief said that Pakistan fully supports Turkey in Cyprus and other regional issues as well as stands with its Turkish brothers in the fight against terrorism.
He said that India continued to ignore Pakistan s peace efforts and continued to support its proxies in Afghanistan to destabilize Pakistan through acts of terrorism.
Air Chief said that the deteriorating situation in Kashmir and the plight of Kashmiris is a big question mark for the international community.
The Chief of Air Staff said that in order to meet the challenges of the day and achieve common interests, defense cooperation between the two countries needs to be further strengthened.
