Dense fog continues to blanket parts of Punjab
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dense fog has blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Friday and Saturday, badly disrupting the road traffic and paralysing routine life, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the visibility has dropped to zero on main roads in plain areas across the province due to which Lahore-Kot Abdul Hakim Motorway M3 has been closed for all kind of traffic. Motorway M4 and Motorway M5 have also been closed at various points due the dense fog.
Dense fog has also disrupted traffic at the National Highway near Sahiwal, Okara, Chicha Watni, Pattoke, Phool Nagar and their adjacent area as visibility was very low.
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed as the visibility was dropped to zero due to dense fog. The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
