The JI chief said that Islamabad is the 'graveyard' of 'apathetic' leaders.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq on Friday has said that no one is listening to the bereaved families of the miners, who were shot dead in Machh area of Kachhi district on Sunday.

Addressing a rally, the JI chief said that Islamabad is the ‘graveyard’ of ‘apathetic’ leaders. Imran Khan is not capable of holding the office of prime minister, he criticized.

Siraj-ul-Haq further said that incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be considered as ‘murderers’ till the arrest of the suspects.

Meanwhile, Provincial Information Minister for Sindh Nasir Hussain Shah said that the Machh incident has exposed the real face of PM Imran Khan. The premier is showing worst attitude towards the families of the Machh victims, he added.

Central spokesperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Senator Maula Bakhsh Chandio said that PM alleging Hazara community of blackmailing him is shameful. Imran Khan has proven that he is a ‘puppet’ prime minister, he went on to say.

The reactions came after Prime Minister Imran Khan, while commenting on the Hazara community protest, said that no premier can be blackmailed and it is not appropriate to condition the burial of the victims of the gruesome Machh incident with PM’s arrival.

Speaking at a ceremony in connection with the launch of Special Technology Zones Authority in Islamabad, Imran Khan said he will visit Quetta today if the slain coal miners are buried.

The Prime Minister said the government has accepted all the demands of Hazara community and the bereaved families will be compensated and fully taken care of as they have lost their bread earners in the despicable incident.

Imran Khan said he also sent his cabinet members to Hazara community to deliver a message that the government fully stands behind them.
