Federal Cabinet expresses grief over Machh incident, Usama's killing

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Cabinet has expressed grief and regret over killing of 10 coal miners in Balochistan and Usama Satti by policemen in federal capital.

During the cabinet meeting, Advisor to Prime Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan raised the issue of killing of youth in Islamabad and presented stance of parents of the victim. On this PM Imran Khan expressed grief and said that such ruthless people should not be part of the police.

Cabinet also exempted purchase of COVID-19 vaccine from PPRA rules. The meeting also approved appointment of Chairman Board of Directors of Pakistan Expo Centers and members of Press Council of Pakistan.

Formation of inspection committee for registration of fish processing plants was approved; however, approval of decisions of sub-committee of the cabinet on institutional reforms was deferred.
