Cold and dry weather expected in most parts of country

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours while fog is likely to prevail in central and southern districts of Punjab during morning hours, Dunya News reported.

The Met Office said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A westerly weather system will approach western and upper parts of the country from Sunday night and expected to persist in upper parts till Wednesday (morning).

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. However, cloudy weather condition with rain (snowfall over hills) is expected in Islamabad, Potohar region, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan.

Meanwhile, weather remained cold and dry over most parts of the country during last 24 hours. However, rain occurred in Kalam, Dir and Skardu. Parachinar and Leh remained the coldest cities in the country with - 7°C temperature.
