Paksitan will fully support Egypt in legal battle against blasphemous sketches: Noorul Haq Qadri
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said Pakistan supports Grand Imam of Egypt Sheikh Al Azhar’s decision to move the International Court of Justice against publication of blasphemous caricatures in France.
He was talking to Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan Tarek Mohamed Hussein Dahroug who called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Minister said the Muslim Ummah should get united to check such despicable incidents in future.
Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said there is also a proposal under consideration that the prominent Muslim personalities engage with religious leaders of Christians and Jews to apprise them that such acts are dangerous for world peace and security.
