PM Imran to chair federal cabinet meeting today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet will meet today (Tuesday) in Islamabad to discuss the country’s economic and political situation, Dunya News reported.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s office. The cabinet will discuss a seven-point agenda during the meeting.

According to sources, the Cabinet will be briefed on subsidies and grants. The cabinet will also give approval to allow TDP to notify the "Registrant" body for registration. The issue of nominations for reconstitution of the Pharmacy Council will also be reviewed in the meeting.

Sources said that The Inrerior Ministry will submit a summary of seeking permission for investigation in various cases. The nomination of Directors on the Board of Saindak Metals Limited is also part of cabinet meeting agenda.

The decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet in its October 28 meeting will be presented for ratification during the meeting.

Sources further informed that the decisions taken by the Cabinet Committee on Energy in its meeting on October 29 will also be presented to the Cabinet for ratification.
