Bosnia's Sefik Dzaferovic meets COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa at GHQ

Both the leaders vowed to further strengthen ties between Pakistan and Bosnia.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic on Thursday has met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both the leaders vowed to further strengthen ties between Pakistan and Bosnia.

Earlier, Pakistan and Bosnia had agreed to improve the volume of trade and expand cooperation in different fields. The understanding came at a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic in Islamabad.

Later, in a joint media talk, Prime Minister Imran Khan pointed out that the trade between the two countries currently stands at four point five million Euros which is nothing.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia said both the countries have stood by each other in difficult times.

Sefik Dzaferovic said human rights of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir must be respected. He also stressed for the resolution of the dispute in line with the UN Security Council Resolutions.

It is to be mentioned here that Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic had arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit. A high-level delegation, including the Minister for Security as well as Presidential Advisers was accompanying the Bosnian President.

During his stay, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic will have separate interactions with Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment, and other dignitaries.

The visit of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will serve to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperative bonds between the people of the two countries.
