PML-N cuts ribbon to inaugurate Orange Line Metro Train project

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Sunday have celebrated the inauguration of much-awaited Orange Line Metro Train project that was launched by party president and then Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif.

According to details, PML-N seniors Saad Rafique, Malik Pervez, Ayaz Sadiq and others cut the ribbon and also distributed sweets to express their happiness.

Special prayers were also offered for the success of the ‘PMLN-initiated’ project.

PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has created fear among the ministers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

In a statement, Marriyum Aurangzeb congratulated party president over inauguration and said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan must be embarrassed on launching a project that was started by Shehbaz Sharif.

The one who provided best traveling services to the people of Pakistan is bearing unjust prison sentences, she added.

It is to be mentioned here that Orange Line Metro Train – a China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project – will be inaugurated in Lahore today (Sunday).

Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the project while CPEC authority chairman Retired Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa and Chinese delegation will participate in the ceremony.

Installations and decorations at all 26 stations along 27.1 KM-long track have been completed.
