PIA to use alternate means for flights to Pakistan from UK, France

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced flights to Pakistan from UK and France through alternate means. It will operate flights from UK and France with new European aircrafts from October 30.

According to details, direct flights from Islamabad to London, Lahore to London and Islamabad to Manchester will be operated. PIA will also operate direct flights from Paris to Islamabad and Lahore.

PIA’s GSA of France will repatriate passengers on special chartered flights and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has allowed Hi Fly to land at Lahore and Islamabad Airports. This authorization for landings is from October 30, 2020 to January 29, 2021. PIA had applied to the CAA for permission to land chartered flights.

According to the CAA, chartered flights will fully comply with the SOPs specified by the government. PIA will fly passengers from UK, France to Pakistan on Hi fly chartered flights.
