Flour price increased again from Rs78 to Rs80 per kg

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The price of mill flour increased for the third time in the same month, the price increased by Rs2 to Rs80 per kg. The Nanbai association also hinted at rising roti prices.

According to the details, after cheap flour disappeared in the open market, the flour mill owners has increased the price of flour by Rs2 per kg. The price increased from Rs78 to Rs80 per kg.

On the other hand, General Secretary Lahore Atta Chakki Owners Association Abdul Rehman said that wheat prices have crossed Rs 2,500 per 40kg. You can t sell cheap flour when you buy expensive wheat, he added.

President of Nanbai Association Aftab Aslam Gul said that the shortage of flour is now becoming unbearable. They are giving deadline to the government till Tuesday regarding the supply of flour. If flour is available, we will not increase the price of roti.
