LAHORE (Dunya News) – A meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement will be held today (Tuesday) to discuss the situation created after the arrest of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif.

According to details, PML-N spokesman Ahsan Iqbal has told that the leaders of joint opposition will participate in the session. He said that strategy regarding the political revenge of the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will also be devised.

On the other hand, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that PTI government is afraid of Shehbaz Sharif and All Parties Conference (APC) and wants to disrupt the decisions taken in the opposition parties’ meeting.

Shehbaz Sharif was arrested so that the government can engineer the Gilgit-Baltistan polls just like General Elections 2018, she told.

The decision to arrange the session came day after National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team arrested Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case when Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected his bail plea.

The anti-graft watchdog will present Opposition Leader before the court today for his physical remand.
