ASP Abdul Khaliq, a police officer investigating the case, said they were trying to record the both parties statement.

ASP Abdul Khaliq said that Talal Chaudhry would be contacted again soon. Hospital staff said he had been discharged, leaving an hour earlier.

Meanwhile, a four-member police team reached the house of Ayesha Baloch in Faisalabad but the statement could not be recorded as the woman MNA was not at her house.

According to police officials, Ayesha Rajab is in Islamabad and a statement will be recorded there.
