Locals irked by continuous power outages in parts of Karachi
The locals have demanded the district administration to take steps to restore power in their areas.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The locals in different areas of Karachi on Friday are facing immense problems due to severe electricity load shedding.
According to details, Orangi Town, Malir, Liaquatabad, New Karachi Town, Lines Area, Manzoor Colony Gulistan-e-Johar, North Nazimabad, and others are suffering from nine to ten hours of power outages.
The residents of the areas have demanded the district administration to take steps to restore power in their areas.
Meanwhile, the K-Electric spokesperson said that power outages are being conducted due to reduced gas pressure to three out of four plants.
K-Electric has also written a letter to Ministry of Water and Power, requesting for additional electricity from National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC).
