Imran Khan tops list of politicians to have successfully dealt with Covid-19
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - British magazine Asian World has released the list of world leaders who have successfully controlled the coronavirus pandemic with PM Imran Khan topping the list for his timely and effective strategy to control the virus’ spread.
The British magazine has released the list comprising top ten politicians from across the globe. Prime Minister Imran Khan tops the list while his Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari has taken 7th place.
The report said that these top 10 politicians ‘have worked hard to overcome the effects of the virus to their citizens’. Imran Khan was given credit for launching a relief fund for those left unemployed due to the pandemic.
The list has New York Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio Cortez at second place, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden at third, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at sixth and Special Assistant to PM for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari at seventh place.
The British magazine said that Zulfi Bukhari led the mission to help Pakistanis stranded abroad and did his best towards getting flights to ensure the repatriation of all those people who wanted to come back to Pakistan.
