CM orders to clean all streets of Karachi after rain
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah has ordered to clean all the streets of Karachi after the rain, and restore power in all the areas.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh on the situation in Karachi after monsoon rains battered city in which Murad Ali Shah was briefed that 170 out of 1900 feeders of K-Electric were to be restored. Chief Minister said that water was stagnant in some places and they were clearing it.
Murad Ali Shah asked the authorities, why water was not extracted from most areas of southern district. He said KMC s Urban Disaster Response Unit did not appear to be active, water is still in the various blocks of Bath Island, Clifton and ordered to clear the procession route on 10th Muharram.
