KARACHi (Dunya News) – The operation against encroachments across drains in Karachi, which was scheduled to begin today (Monday), has been postponed, Dunya News reported.
Sources privy to the matter have informed that the operation has been delayed by the sixth monsoon spell in the metropolis. Furthermore, the process will be started after the decision is made regarding resettlement of inhabitants across the nullahs.
On the other hand, a meeting of the coordination committee comprising the federal and the Sindh ministers was held at the Chief Minister House which discussed this matter along with other affairs.
