Waste should be removed and disposed of in a timely manner: Usman Buzdar

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday directed concerned authorities to continue cleanliness operation even on second day of Eid-ul-Azha.

Usman Buzdar, while directing to make best cleaning arrangements today, said that the waste should be removed and disposed of in a timely manner and solid waste management companies and concerned agencies should not leave any stone unturned in this regard.

On the other hand, Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is conducting cleaning operation in the city despite heavy rains in the city on the second day of Eid-ul-Azha. According to the details, more than 16,500 tonnes of offal were collected from the city on first day of Eid (Saturday) and 3,000 tonnes of animal remains have been collected today so far.
