PM tasks NDMA chief, Pak Army to clean up rain-hit Karachi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday directed National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) chairman to reach Karachi immediately to start the clean up drive in the city in the aftermath of the rain, Dunya News reported.

Prime Minister also asked Pakistan Army to extend help in cleaning up the city in the wake of recent torrential rains.

In his message on Twitter, PM Imran said: "I have asked the NDMA Chairman to go to Karachi immediately and start the clean up in the aftermath of the rain."

"I have asked the Pak army to also help in cleaning up the city," PM Imran said in his tweet.
