KARACHI (Dunya News) – Second spell of monsoon rain in Karachi has exposed the inability of district administration which appears helpless in averting the disastrous situation as several roads were submerged under rain water, Dunya News reported on Thursday
Despite the passage of six hours, the authorities failed to drain out the water from the provincial capital’s roads. University Road and various roads in Gulshan Iqbal, Safari Park and Neepa Bridge areas were submerged under rain water.
The situation has created immense problems for the people in Karachi as the flooded roads affected the movement of pedestrians and the flow of the traffic.
