ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday has termed claims of Federal Maritime Affairs Minister Syed Ali Haider Zaidi regarding Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report on Lyari gangwar commander Uzair Baloch as irresponsible.

While talking to media, the CM said that Rangers arrested Uzair Baloch and remanded him in custody for 90 days. JIT prepared its report, got it signed by seven people and submitted it to interior ministry, he added.

Murad Ali Shah said that the report presented by the Sindh government has names of all the institutions. Anything can be expected from federal government, he reacted on Ali Zaidi‘s statement.

Earlier today, Sindh CM appeared before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in fake bank accounts and Roshan Program corruption cases and answered 28 queries of the investigation officer.

Previously, Murad Ali Shah had excused himself from appearing before the bureau after which he was re-summoned on July 8.

NAB has claimed that several companies won contracts worth billions of rupees for the Roshan Sindh project by paying bribes. The inquiry into this scandal is among others taking place as part of the fake accounts case probe.
