PM forms petrol shortage inquiry committee under SAPM mineral resources
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has formed an inquiry committee led by Shahzad Syed Qasim, Special Assistant to PM for Coordination of Marketing & Development of Mineral Resources, to investigate the recent petrol crisis.
The inquiry committee will look into the hoarding of petrol by oil companies and will also report on the steps taken by the Petroleum Division to deal with the crisis.
The committee will also look into the steps taken by OGRA to address the oil crisis and assess the impact of lower oil prices on imports. The committee will determine those responsible for the shortage and give a plan of action for the future as well.
