LAHORE (Dunya News) – A resolution against hike in petroleum prices has on Saturday been submitted in the Punjab Assembly by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Rabia Farooqi.

The resolution stated that the staggering increase in petroleum prices is a cruel step and there is no justification for the surge as rates are decreasing in the international market.

People had been facing fuel shortage for several days and prices are now increased, it said while demanding that the decision should be withdrawn.

The resolution further added that judiciary should take suo motu notice over the matter and bring facts before public by forming an investigation commission.
