NAB is autonomous, govt cannot influence it: Fayyaz-ul-Hassan
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has stressed that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an autonomous institution and Punjab or federal government cannot influence working of the bureau.
Fayyaz-ul-Hassan, while exclusively talking to Dunya News, said that government is not involved in this current issue between NAB and Sharif family. Today, Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif reached Lahore High Court (LHC) from Model Town without any problems, he added.
The information minister also explained that ministers are part of government, that is why they know have information about all institutions.
