Aleem Khan to be re-inducted in Punjab cabinet today
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will administer the oath to Aleem Khan today (Monday).
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Abdul Aleem Khan, will be re-inducted in the Punjab cabinet today (Monday) as a senior minister, Dunya News reported.
According to Dunya News sources, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will administer the oath to Aleem Khan at a ceremony to be held at 5:00pm at the Governor House.
Earlier on Sunday, Aleem Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at Chief Minister’s office. He had also held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan a few days ago.
Aleem Khan had stepped down as local government minister after being detained by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in assets beyond means case. He was released from Kot Lakhpat jail last year in May following bail granted by the Lahore High Court in the NAB case.
