Karachi Mayor seeks Rangers' help to recover KMC land
The letter stated that mafia was illegally occupying 200-acres of land of KMC Officers Society
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Disappointed with the efforts of police, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar on Sunday wrote a letter to Sindh Rangers Director General (DG) demanding to retrieve the land of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) from land grabbers.
The letter stated that mafia was illegally occupying 200-acres of land of KMC Officers’ Society and in December 2019, it occupied the office of the society.
Waseem Akhtar further said that a report was lodged with the Pak Colony police station in January, however, police failed to take action against the culprits.
