ANP disassociates itself from Sitara Ayaz for voting in favor of raising MPs salaries
Senator Sitara Ayaz voted in favor of bill proposing raise in salaries of lawmakers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Awami National Party (ANP) disassociated itself from Senator Sitara Ayaz for voting in support of bill proposing hefty raise in salaries of lawmakers.
According to ANP spokesperson, Senator Sitara Ayaz was elected on ANP’s ticket but now she is not part of ANP.
Spokesperson further clarified that Sitara Ayaz’s vote should not be considered as vote of ANP, as leadership has expelled the senator from the party.
