Dense fog: Motorway section from Lahore to Balkasar closed
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dense fog has blanketed several cities of Punjab including Lahore on night between Friday and Saturday, badly disrupting the road traffic, Dunya News reported.
The Motorway section from Lahore to Balkasar (M2) was shut down for all kind of traffic due to poor visibility. Dense fog also disrupted traffic flow at the Grand Trunk Road (GT Road).
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed as the visibility was dropped to zero metres due to dense fog. The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
Dense fog affected routine life and road traffic in several other cities including Sahiwal, Chichawatni, Nankana Sahib, Kalur Kot, Harapa, Sangla Hill, Gojra Phoolnagar and Manga Mandi.
