CM Usman Buzdar approves to build Institute of Blood Diseases in Lahore.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved to build Institute of Blood Diseases in Lahore, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

According to details, the CM decided to form the hospital for blood diseases after meeting Dr. Tahir Shamsi who drew his attention towards the blood-related problems.

The hospital – comprising 500 beds – will cost Rs5 billion. Usman Buzdar told that the patients will be treated free of cost. The CM also summoned recommendations and action plan for the project.

It is pertinent here to mention that Usman Buzdar had earlier announced to establish Institute of Cardiology at the Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. Sources familiar with the matter told that steps will soon be taken for the formation of this project as well.
