Doctors taking precautionary measures for Nawaz's safe travel to London: Marriyum
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday has said that doctors are taking all the possible precautionary measures for safe travel of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif to London for medical treatment.
In a statement, the PML-N leader said that Nawaz Sharif is being accompanied by his personal doctor Dr Adnan Khan and brother Shehbaz Sharif during the travel. Nawaz Sharif in on high risk due to which he was unable to meet his relatives before departing for London, she told.
Meanwhile, PML-N’s Pervez Rashid said that the party supremo will soon be among the people of Pakistan once his health gets improved.
It is to be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif has left for London from Allama Iqbal International Airport for medical treatment on a “high-end” air ambulance from Doha.
In a tweet shared on his official twitter handle on Tuesday morning before departure, Sharif’s personal physician Dr Adnan Khan stated that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will depart for London, UK, via Doha, Qatar, in an Airbus A-319-133LR / A7-MED Air Ambulance managed by Qatar Airways at 10am PST.
Earlier, Marriyum Aurangzeb had advised the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to better focus on serving nation instead of getting jealous from Nawaz Sharif.
She PML-N leader said that the ministers are showing stubbornness by wrongly interpreting Lahore High Court’s (LHC) decision of removing Nawaz Sharif’s name from Exit Control List and allowing him to travel abroad for medical treatment without submitting indemnity bond.
