CM Usman Buzdar expresses grief over Tezgam fire incident.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has on Thursday expressed profound grief over Tezgam Express fire incident that occurred due to explosion in a gas canister used by passengers to cook breakfast near Talwari Station in Liaquatpur area of Rahim Yar Khan.
Usman Buzdar extended his condolences to the families of the victims and directed the authorities to provide best medical facilities to the injured. Emergency has been imposed in all hospitals of the district.
Let it be known that at least 71 people lost their lives in the incident and dozens sustained critical burn wounds. Meanwhile, firefighters initiated a rescue operation to extinguish the fire and other passengers were evacuated from the train to safe places.
