Dengue fever outbreak affects 62 more in Rawalpindi.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Dengue fever epidemic has affected 62 more people in Rawalpindi in 24 hours, and the number of victims has surged to 1,436, Dunya News reported on Monday.

39 patients were reported from Potohar Town and 29 from Airport Housing Scheme and adjacent areas in one day.

Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid visited Benazir Bhutto Hospital and inspected the dengue ward. The minister expressed concerns over increase in dengue cases.

Dr Yasmin Rashid directed the authorities to provide best medical facilities to the sufferers and stressed that any negligence will not be tolerated.
