Rain-related incidents leave three dead, 13 injured

The victims were immediately shifted to the hospitals for medical assistance.

SARGODHA (Dunya News) – At least three people were killed while 13 sustained severe wounds in different rain-related incidents in parts of the country today (Sunday).

According to details, two brothers lost their lives whereas one received injuries as wall of a house collapsed in Sargodha. The rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the victims to hospital.

In Faisalabad, youth was killed after roof of a house caved in due to torrential rain.

Separately, ten people reportedly wounded in five mishaps of roof collapse in Sheikhupura.

On the other hand, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated widespread rains/wind-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Zhob divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at scattered places in Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, at isolated places in Kalat, Multan, Bahawalpur, Karachi, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Sh. Benazirabad divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
