PML-N tables resolution in Punjab Assembly against Rana Sanaullah's arrest

The government has failed to provide evidence against the former Punjab law minister.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday has presented a resolution in Punjab Assembly against the arrest of Rana Sanaullah by Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) after drugs were recovered from his car.

The resolution that was tabled by PML-N leader Uzma Bukhari stated that Rana Sanaullah’s arrest was a slap in the face of so-called ‘democratic’ government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The government has failed to provide evidence against the former Punjab law minister who unveiled the real face of its federal ministers, it added.

The resolution further claimed that Rana Sanaullah fearlessly fought against the dictatorship of Pervez Musharraf, adding that this house strongly condemned his detention.

The whole nation is watching the revengeful actions of ‘selected’ Prime Minister against PML-N, it concluded.

On the other hand, the Anti-Narcotics Court sent Rana Sanaullah was sent on 14-day judicial remand. On the occasion, security was beefed up at the Zila Kutchehry and heavy contingents of police were deployed.
