Section 144 imposed in North Waziristan
District administration has imposed Section 144 in North Waziristan for a period of one month.
NORTH WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) - The district administration on Monday has imposed Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in North Waziristan tribal district for a period of one month, Dunya News reported.
According to a statement issued by district administration, Section 144 was imposed in North Waziristan in the wake of prevailing volatile situation of law and order in the dictrict.
Under Section 144, all rallies, sit-ins, gathering of more than five people and holding public meetings have been banned to maintain law and order situation in North Waziristan.
