Two blasts in Ziarat kill 5, injure many
Bodies and injured people were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
ZIARAT (Dunya News) – At least five people including a woman were killed and many others wounded in two explosions in Ziarat on Friday.
As per the details, the first explosion took place in Ziarat’s Zero Point area, resultantly, three people including a woman were killed on the spot and several others wounded.
Assistant Commissioner Ziarat Major Kabir Zarkoon said that the bodies and injured people were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
He said that the dead and injured tourists belonged to Karachi who came to Ziarat to spend Eid holidays.
The Assistant Commissioner went on to say that police were yet to ascertain the exact nature of the explosion, but said initial clues suggested the explosion could be due to a CNG cylinder explosion.
The second blast occurred in a car in Ziarat’s Kawas area which left two people dead and nine others injured.
Soon after the explosion, bodies and injured people were shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Assistant Commissioner Ziarat Major Kabir Zarkoon said that the dead and injured people belonged to Hazaara tribe.
