NAB chief directs to take cases against proclaimed offenders to logical end

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Thursday directed to take the cases against proclaimed offenders and wanted criminals to logical end.

The NAB chairman presided over a meeting of the anti-graft watchdog’s Executive Board and approved the filing of four corruption references.

According to the declaration, the meeting approved filing of a references against former DG Sindh Building Control Manzoor Qadir. He is accused of illegal allotments and inflicting a loss of Rs3 billion to the national exchequer.

The meeting also approved inquiries against former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his company Zardari Group.

The anti-graft agency’s executive board approved inquiries against PML-N MNA Nasir Bosal and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif’s secretary Imdadullah Bosal.

Speaking on the occasion, the Bureau is implementing accountability for all policy, adding that the mega corruption cases will be taken to logical end.
