Asif Zardari demands action against NAB chairman.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Erstwhile president Asif Ali Zardari has Tuesday demanded the authorities to take action against the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal.

Asif Zardari said in an informal talk to media after appearing before an accountability court in Islamabad that the NAB chief’s interview was a violation of the law. How the economy of the country can run after handcuffing and arresting elderly persons, he said.

It is worth mentioning here that the accountability court today adjourned the hearing of fake bank accounts case against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur till May 30.

The case was postponed as the copies of the interim reference – filed by the National Accountability Bureau – could not be provided to the former president Asif Zardari and his sister, Faryal Talpur.

Let it be known that the court had directed all the suspects to assure their presence in today’s hearing.
