PML-N's Zubair demands SBP governor, finance adviser to declare assets

More than one million people have lost their jobs during the last eight months of incumbent govt.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former Sindh Governor and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair on Friday demanded State Bank Governor and Adviser to Prime Minister of Finance to declare their assets.

Talking to media in Karachi on Friday, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz needs no position, adding that she is popular among the masses.

Her tweets greatly disturbs PM Imran Khan and his party, he said.

Muhammad Zubair went on to say that his party has serious concerns over the agreement with the IMF and amnesty scheme. Pakistan’s poor masses have been bombed with agreement with IMF.

The PML-N leader demanded Adviser to Prime Minister of Finance Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) governor Raza Baqir to declare their properties then they would accept that they [SBP governor and finance adviser] wanted to do something for Pakistan.

Criticizing the government’s policies, the former Sindh governor said that PM Imran Khan is not able to run the government, adding that the country’s economic condition is not good.

“More than one million people have lost their jobs during the last eight months, he said and added the stock market crashed around 10 percent.
