Tax amnesty scheme of government has to be introduced through a Presidential Ordinance on April 15.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The sessions of the National Assembly and Senate have been rescheduled to give space for the President to promulgate the Amnesty ordinance, Dunya News reported.

The session of the National Assembly, which was scheduled to be held today (Friday), has been rescheduled for April 22 while the session of Senate, which was scheduled to be held on April 15, has been rescheduled for April 25 to give space for the President to promulgate the Amnesty ordinance.

According to sources, first tax amnesty scheme of the incumbent government has to be introduced through a Presidential Ordinance on April 15 and the ordinance cannot be promulgated during the ongoing session of the National Assembly.
