LAHORE (Dunya News) – A resolution condemning torture on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers on the occasion of Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) appearance in money laundering case has been submitted in Punjab Assembly.

The resolution demanded immediate release of the arrested PPP workers.

Earlier today, a clash between Islamabad police and PPP workers took place at NADRA Chowk. Party secretary general Farhatullah Babar also got involved in a scuffle with the officials.

The police baton-charged the party workers and detained at least 50 persons.

On the other hand, NAB handed over a questionnaire comprising 124 questions for interrogating Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the fake bank accounts/Park Lane case.

The members of a joint investigation team (JIT) of the anti-graft watchdog inquired them about accusations over Park Lane Estate Company (Pvt) Ltd — a Karachi-based real estate firm co-owned by Zardari and Bilawal.

Reportedly, both of them were interrogated separately by two investigation teams led by NAB DG Irfan Mangi.
