Banks receive over 20,000 Hajj applications on first day
The last day of submitting Hajj applications under government Hajj scheme is March 6.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Over 20,000 applications were received on Monday, the first day for submission of Hajj applications under government Hajj scheme, in various branches of 14 designated banks across the country.
According to Ministry of Religious Affairs, the designated branches of 14 banks received 20, 069 applications through online data entry process on the first day for submission of Hajj applications.
The last day of submitting Hajj applications is March 6. This year, at least 107, 526 aspiring pilgrims will perform Hajj under the government scheme who will be selected through a computerised ballot on March 8.
